On May 31, 2012, the winners of New York University’s 70th annual First Run Film Festival will be screened at the Haig Manoogian Screenings at the Directors’ Guild of America. The event will be hosted by Tisch School of the Arts alumna Lucy Walker, an Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker. The winning films scheduled for screening were selected by a panel of industry professionals from more than 100 entries in the 2012 First Run Film Festival, which premieres the work of some of the country’s top student films from the Tisch School of the Arts’ Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television in New York and Tisch Asia School of the Arts in Singapore.
