J.D. Amato – UG Advanced Production

J.D. Amato is a laughably intense person from New York City who writes and directs films. He grew up in Wilmette, Illinois and attended the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Kanbar Institute of Film and Television. J.D. is a performer at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in New York. On top of performing comedy and storytelling around New York he also works as an animator, editor, and producer. Because he lives alone and has no model for normal human behavior, he often forgets to sleep. As a result you can find him wandering through the streets of New York at all hours of the day and night blathering about a "new" idea.
